Alison DiPaola, SHRM-SCP, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing the Bank’s human resource strategy in support of overall business objectives, which includes total value compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, payroll, benefits, and learning and development.
Alison has more than a decade of experience as a human resources professional. She began her career in financial services at Mascoma Bank, where she worked in Retail Banking for two years before transitioning to the role of Payroll Administrator. In 2013, Alison joined Lake Sunapee Bank, which was acquired by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2017, as Employee Services Specialist. She has served in a variety of roles in human resources, most recently as Vice President, Human Resources Manager.
Alison earned her master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University and her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management from the University of New Hampshire. She is a 2017 graduate of Northern New England School of Banking and a 2021 graduate of New England School for Financial Studies. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and has held the Senior Certified Professional (SCP) designation since 2016.
Alison currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Newport Cal Ripkin Baseball League.
Alison and her husband, TJ, live in Newport, New Hampshire, with their two children.
