Black Opry Revue FREE Concert at the Lebanon Opera House

The Lebanon Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Commission and the Lebanon Opera House (LOH) invite you to attend the Black Opry Revue concert on Saturday, October 1 at 7:30 pm. This is a FREE event that showcases five emerging Black singer-songwriters whose work falls into the country genre with gospel, folk, blues, and Americana influences.

The quote below really sums up the heart and soul of the Black Opry movement and speaks to why it’s an important part of this fall’s LOH Presents series:

“Black Opry was born as a simple way for founder Holly G to meet like-minded fans. She rarely saw anyone who looked like her at a country concert. It was always a sea of white faces and the unshakeable feeling that she wasn’t welcome. It’s now a force of change in bringing racial equity to country music.” (Rolling Stone)

Please spread the word – it’s an all-ages event. Registration is required and we’re asking for donations but will accept $0 for barrier-free access.
