Dartmouth football began its spring practice on April 8 as the Big Green prepare for the upcoming 2026 season. The team’s spring session will conclude with the annual spring game scheduled for May 9 at Buddy Teevens Stadium at Memorial Field.
The start of spring practice marks an important phase in Dartmouth’s preparations, giving players and coaches time to evaluate talent and set expectations for the new season. Practices are set three times a week—Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—until May 9. Tuesday and Thursday sessions begin at 5 p.m., while Saturday practices start at 10 a.m., all taking place at Buddy Teevens Stadium. Practice locations and times may change if needed.
The Big Green is coming off a successful 7-3 record in the previous season, including a 4-3 mark in Ivy League play. Quarterback Grayson Saunier returns after passing for nine touchdowns and throwing for over two thousand yards last year, also leading the team with eleven rushing touchdowns. Receiver Ky’Dric Fisher will again be a key target after making twenty-one catches as a sophomore.
On defense, Dartmouth faces changes after losing its top five tacklers to graduation. However, Harrison Keith returns following four interceptions last year as a junior. Cameron Best-Alston enters his senior year with forty tackles from last season and fifty-nine career tackles overall as a defensive back. Seniors Bruce Williams and Joshua Johnson return to anchor the defensive line after combining for four sacks during their junior campaigns.
Earlier this spring on March 13, Dartmouth announced its full schedule for the upcoming season. The team opens against Lehigh on September 19 before hosting Monmouth on September 26 at Buddy Teevens Stadium.
