Dartmouth men’s golf finished ninth at the Princeton Invitational held at Springdale Golf Club, according to an announcement on April 13. The team completed the 54-hole tournament with a total score of +33.

The event was notable as Dartmouth played through illness within the team but still managed a solid showing. Tyler Brand led the Big Green, finishing in 14th place at +3. Brand opened with a +1 round of 72, including four birdies, followed by a second-round score of 73 with two birdies. His best performance came on Sunday when he shot -1, highlighted by an opening birdie and an eagle on the par-4 eighteenth hole.

Fin Szafnauer secured a 32nd-place finish at +9. He recorded a first-round score of 76 with one birdie and improved in subsequent rounds, ending Sunday even par after shooting -1 on the back nine and making both birdies and an eagle during his final round.

Luke Harper finished in 35th place for Dartmouth after rebounding from an opening round of 80 to shoot a second-round score of 66 that included six birdies. Benjamin Wang placed 39th; after struggling in his first round with a score of 78, he responded with a second-round -1 performance featuring four birdies.
