The Dartmouth men’s tennis team won both of its matches on March 10 at Boss Tennis Center, defeating Le Moyne and Quinnipiac by identical scores of 7-0.
These victories highlight the team’s strong performance as they swept all singles and doubles matches against their opponents. The results demonstrate the depth and consistency of the Big Green lineup across both competitions.
Against Quinnipiac, Dartmouth took two out of three doubles matches to secure the early lead. Malhar Patel and Calvin Wang earned a 6-2 win over Vishal Prakash and Csanad Nyaradi, while Adrian Treacy and Kornel Halmos posted a decisive 6-0 victory against Alessandro Sciacca and Prithvi Sudhakar. In singles play, Henry Ren started with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Prakash, followed by Halmos’s 6-1, 6-2 result against Burridge. Miles Groom added a straight-set win over Hoxha, Treacy defeated Carl Sjoholm, Yujiro Onuma bested Sciacca, and Leo Pade closed out with a win over Nyarad.
In the match versus Le Moyne, Dartmouth again secured an early advantage in doubles. Wang and Patel delivered a strong 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles, while Halmos and Treacy followed with a 6-2 win at No. 3. The Big Green then swept all six singles matches: Halmos rallied past Carlo Zucchini in three sets; Groom defeated Callum Matthew; Treacy overcame Luke Hoyland; Pade beat Lorenzo Bortolaso; Wang triumphed over Gabriel Segubiense; and Patel finished with a win against Yegor Boyev.
The team’s performance in these matches underscores its competitive form as it continues through the season.
