Dartmouth women’s golf finished in third place at the Rutgers Invitational, according to an announcement on April 13.
The tournament marked the end of the regular season for Dartmouth. Three team members placed in the top ten, highlighting strong individual performances as they prepare for upcoming championship play.
Olivia Cong led Dartmouth with a fifth-place finish at eleven over par across three rounds. She opened with a score of 76 and followed up with two rounds of 74, collecting several birdies throughout the weekend. Sophia Li was close behind, finishing sixth at fourteen over par. Li’s performance included four birdies in her best round on Sunday, where she shot a 74.
Clarie Wan completed Dartmouth’s trio of top-ten finishers by placing tenth at sixteen over par. Wan started with a first-round score of 74 and added birdies in both her opening and closing rounds. Hope Hall and Sophie Thai tied for thirty-second place overall, while Alissa Xu competed as an individual and finished forty-first after notching four birdies in her first round.
The team will next compete at the Ivy League Championship beginning Friday, April 24, at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield.
