The demolition of 1 High Street in Lebanon, New Hampshire, has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, March 9, 2026. The Department of Public Works delayed the original plan due to a snowstorm earlier in the week. Residents and drivers are advised to use caution and expect delays when traveling through the area.

Despite the postponement of the demolition, the overall construction timeline for the Mechanic Street / Mascoma Street / High Street Roundabout remains unchanged. Construction is set to start on April 27, 2026, and will continue until a winter shutdown around Thanksgiving that year. Final paving and project cleanup are scheduled for spring 2027, with completion expected by May 14, 2027.

Further details about the project can be found at LebanonNH.gov/Roundabout.
