Dartmouth’s Hayden Stavroff was named a First Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association on Apr. 10, following his notable sophomore season.
Stavroff led all players in goals during the 2025-26 season, scoring a career-high 29 goals in 35 games. He also topped the nation in goals per game at 0.83 and ranked sixth in points per game with an average of 1.37. His performance included thirteen multi-point games and two hat-tricks, one of which was a four-goal effort against Brown on Dec. 5.
In March, Stavroff received several honors, including Ivy League Player of the Year and selection to the All-Ivy First Team. On Mar. 18, he became a Top 10 Finalist for the Hobey Baker Award—joining David Jones as only the second Dartmouth player to achieve this distinction—and was subsequently named ECAC Hockey Player of the Year at the conference banquet. He also earned spots on both First Team All-ECAC and as a New England All-Star by the New England Writers Association, and became Dartmouth’s first winner of the Walter Brown Award.
Stavroff’s career totals now stand at 39 goals and 31 assists over two seasons with Dartmouth. His achievements mark him as Dartmouth’s first All-American since Jones received similar recognition in 2007.
The Big Green set new records this year with their first ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship win and their return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1980.
