The schedule for the Ivy 7s Championship was announced earlier this week, with matches set to take place on Saturday, April 11. The tournament will feature teams from Dartmouth, Harvard, Brown, and Princeton.

This event is significant as it brings together top collegiate women’s rugby teams in a competition that has seen strong rivalries in recent years. Dartmouth enters the tournament after a spring training trip to Fiji and participation in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Tournament. The team is aiming for its second consecutive Ivy 7s title.

The day’s action will begin at 9 a.m., when Dartmouth faces Princeton in the opening match. Following this, Harvard will play Brown at 9:25 a.m., with B Pool matches starting shortly after. Dartmouth’s B team is scheduled to compete against Brown B at 10:15 a.m., and later against Princeton B at 12:30 p.m.

Dartmouth’s main squad will also play against Brown A at 11:15 a.m., while Harvard meets Princeton at 11:40 a.m. Additional pool matches are set throughout the day leading up to championship games beginning at 3:45 p.m. The third-place game precedes the championship match, which is scheduled for 4:10 p.m.

Dartmouth has faced Harvard in each of the past six Ivy 7s Championship finals since 2018, splitting those contests evenly with three wins each. Last year, Dartmouth defeated Harvard by a score of 27-5 to claim the title.

All matches of Saturday’s Ivy 7s tournament will be streamed live on ESPN+. Further details about Dartmouth’s performance can be found on DartmouthSports.com.
