Lebanon Library recently issued the following announcement.

Come recite a poem that you like – it can be one that you’ve created, or someone else’s!

There will be snacks and beverages available, as well as a prize for the best poem. We will start off the evening with a round of poetry games and the slam begins! This Poetry Slam gives writers and performers 3-minutes to wow the audience and vie for the fantastical, phenomenal and fabulous prize: a $20 gift card to Lucky’s, so bring your a-game and b-poetry!
