The Lebanon Police Department announced on April 8 that several individuals have been arrested in connection with recent retail thefts and related offenses in the South Main Street and Plainfield Road areas of West Lebanon.
These incidents highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address shoplifting and associated crimes affecting local businesses. The department said it remains committed to pursuing those responsible for such offenses.
According to the police, Jeremy Maxwell Raymond Jr., age 35, from Claremont, New Hampshire, was arrested on March 31 following a theft at Target. Loss prevention staff reported that Raymond removed security tags from merchandise. He was found with additional concealed items, processed at the police department, posted $500 cash bail, and is scheduled for a court appearance on June 1.
On April 4, officers arrested Jeremy Fischer, age 33 of White River Junction, Vermont after a theft at Walmart. Fischer was charged with felony theft due to prior convictions and released on bail pending his June court date. That same day, Dalton Harrington of Chelsea, Vermont was apprehended after being observed concealing merchandise at Dollar Tree; he also had an active warrant and drug paraphernalia. Harrington faces felony theft charges due to prior convictions and was held on bail.
Corey Hale, age 37 with no current address, was also arrested during the Dollar Tree incident for possession of drug paraphernalia and falsifying physical evidence. Hale was released on personal recognizance bail pending his June court appearance.
On April 7, Albert Wood (age 41) with no current address was taken into custody in connection with two felony thefts from Best Buy occurring March 12 and April 4. Wood admitted to both incidents while under existing bail conditions; he faces multiple charges including disorderly conduct and breach of bail conditions. He is being held pending arraignment.
Also on April 7th Shawn Rich (age 47) of St. Johnsbury, Vermont was arrested following a theft at Kohl’s; Rich faces felony theft charges due to previous convictions and is being held awaiting arraignment.
“The Lebanon Police Department will continue to aggressively pursue, apprehend, and hold accountable individuals who come into the City of Lebanon to commit these crimes,” said Chief Phillip J. Roberts.
