The Lebanon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people and a vehicle connected to a recent case of fraudulent credit card use, according to an April 8 announcement.
Police say the victim last saw her credit card at a gas station in Perkinsville, Vermont. The Windsor County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the card as stolen in Vermont. Within hours of being reported missing, the credit card was used for several unauthorized purchases at Walmart in West Lebanon on March 29 at about 4:05 p.m. and again at 5:56 p.m.
According to police, one suspect is described as a tall male with short dark hair who was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and dark pants. The second suspect is described as a female wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, leggings, and gray shoes. Authorities believe the suspects were driving a red sedan that may be either a Chevrolet Malibu or Chevrolet Impala.
Photographs of both individuals and their vehicle have been made available by law enforcement. Anyone who recognizes these individuals or their car is encouraged to contact the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Lebanon Police Tip Line at 603-448-CLUE (2583) or online at LebanonNH.gov/CLUE.
The request for assistance was authorized by Chief Phillip J. Roberts.
