The Town of Bristol is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time, permanent position with the Solid Waste Department. The Lead Attendant will manage the disposal of solid waste and recyclables. Pay range for this position is between $29,752 – $32,514 annually pending experience.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; Five years’ experience in the operation and management of a Transfer Station, or a similar combination of education and job history; Be able to lift 60 pounds and work under strenuous physical conditions. Heavy equipment experience is recommended. Possession of a valid Step 3 or higher license from the N.H. Department of Environmental Services is preferred. Some duties require supervisory, administrative, payroll, and marketing expertise. The Lead Attendant will also interact with other Town Departments and members of the public and requires good computer/communication skills and the ability to answer emails, submit reports, maintain records, and attend meetings when required.
