Town of Hanover issued the following announcement on August 25.
Beginning September 1, 2021, Hanover residents will be required to obtain a permit to utilize the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility. Residential permits can be obtained by applying for free using the online application. Solid Waste Permits do not replace punch cards.

Proof of residency will be required when applying. Accepted forms of proof of residency include:
- a most recent tax bill
- vehicle registration
- driver’s license
- non-driver/state-issued photo identification card
- utility bill
- lease agreement
