City of Lebanon issued the following announcement on November 2.
The following contains information pertaining to citywide closures, parades, activities, displays, and resources relating to Veterans Day in Lebanon, NH.
Citywide Closures
Please be advised that City Hall, Lebanon Libraries, and all other City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in observance of Veterans Day.
The Lebanon Solid Waste & Recycling Facility will be OPEN regular hours.
Veterans Day Parade and Ceremonies
The following events celebrating Veterans Day, November 11, 2021, are sponsored by the American Legion Guyer-Carignan Post 22. View their website for complete details and location information.
- A Veterans Day parade will begin at 11:00am at the CCBA, then to Spencer Street, Campbell Street, and around Colburn Park. The parade will be followed by a ceremony in Colburn Park at 11:00am.
- A luncheon follows at the American Legion Post (must be 21 or older to attend).
Lebanon Libraries Slideshow: Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Lebanon Libraries will not be setting up its annual “Honoring Our Veterans" display inside our buildings. We invite you to instead, take a moment to view our online photo presentation compiled to honor our Lebanon veterans. If you would like to include family or friends in the slideshow, please submit your scanned photos by email to library@leblibrary.com, indicating the name of the person and the branch of the military in which he or she served. The photos will be added as they are received. Thank you for helping to carry on this tradition.

Veterans Resources - Information regarding an array of services available to Veterans, including medical care, social services, rental and utility assistance, emergency housing, and more.
Veterans Tax Credit - Credits ranging from $250 in taxes to a total exemption of taxes are available for those meeting the requirements as set by State law. The veteran must have been a NH resident for 1 year preceding April 1 of the tax year and owned the property on April 1.
