Town of Bristol issued the following announcement on January 18.
What’s the future of the Bristol Police and Fire Departments? That will be the topic of a Zoom session next week with Bristol Police Chief Jim McIntire and Fire Chief Ben Laroche and Groen Construction. The session will be Tuesday, January 18, at 7pm. The Zoom information is below.
On this year’s warrant at Town Meeting will be a proposal for a combined Public Safety Building on the site of the current PD and neighboring “Smith lot.” The Chiefs and Groen will highlight the conditions of the current buildings, an overview of the proposal, cost estimate, grantwriting work, and will then be opened up to a moderated Q&A session.
If you cannot attend, the session will also be recorded and posted to the Town website.
