City of Lebanon: City Council to Discuss Mask Ordinance

15

City of Lebanon issued the following announcement on March 2.

Ordinance 2021-09: Face Masks, which regulates the wearing of face masks in Lebanon, remains in effect until rescinded by City Council. In order to adopt a new ordinance, or to amend (rescind) an existing ordinance, a public hearing is required (see City Code Chapter 115, Article 4 for more information).

At its March 2, 2022 meeting, Lebanon City Council will discuss setting the required public hearing for March 16, 2022. Members of the public may address the Council at this meeting regarding the setting of the public hearing, but public testimony on the specifics of the possible rescission will not be heard until the night of the public hearing on March 16. To provide comment to the City Council in advance of either meeting, please use the Boards and Committees Contact Form available on our website.

For City Council agendas, please visit LebanonNH.gov/Agendas. Meetings are open for public attendance in Council Chambers, City Hall, or via remote access.
