Town of Springfield issued the following announcement on March 10.
The Springfield Historical Society is erecting a new structure at the museum this summer and is looking for a name for the building. Please email your suggestions to www.historicalspringfieldnh.org by April 18 or drop them in the drop box at the post office or bring them to the town office.
This is going to be a shed like structure (shaped like a sugar house) to house/display historical tools, history of sugaring in the town etc.
If your suggestion is chosen you will receive a one year membership to the Historical Society.
