Town of Sunapee issued the following announcement on March 20.
Our Highway Crew is out again today tending to our gravel roads. The extra rain and warmer temperatures have created a muddy mess. The teams are working around the clock to ensure the roads are passable. They were out with the york rake today leveling the ruts. This fills in the puddles to help the water run off the sides of the road allowing for proper drainage and drying out the roads as quickly as possible.
