Town of Sunapee issued the following announcement on March 21.
It was another busy day for our Highway Department. They spent the day reworking all that mother nature undid. Crews were on Perkins Pond Road, Hells Corner, Penacook Path, Sleeper Road, and many others. Since Friday, the crew has laid just over 500 tons of gravel. While we know that this is a "worse than usual" kind of year, we appreciate your continued patience as the highway team seeks to work alongside mother nature. If you see the team around town, be sure to thank them for all their hard work!
