Interested in getting rid of outdated or inefficient AC units and/or dehumidifiers? NHSaves’ utility partners are hosting an event at the West Lebanon Home Depot where eligible customers can turn in room air conditioners and dehumidifiers for a $30 incentive per unit.

Here’s how you can participate:

1. Bring an old, working room air conditioning unit or dehumidifier to Home Depot at 296 N. Plainfield Road, West Lebanon on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 9:00am - 1:00pm
2. Drop off your unit(s) and receive a rebate form from event staff.
3. Complete the rebate form and submit it to the event staff.
4. Once approved, you’ll receive your $30 recycling rebate by mail 6 – 8 weeks after the form is submitted.

Restrictions include:

• Limit of 2 room AC’s and 2 dehumidifiers per residential account serviced by a NHSaves utility partner (Eversource, Liberty, NH Electric Co-Op, Unitil)
• Commercial accounts are not eligible.

Environmental Benefits

• Removing old, inefficient AC units from use
• Recycling AC units properly
• Many AC units use a refrigerant that has a disproportionately large Global Warming Potential, and this event makes sure it is captured and disposed of properly
