Of the 43,105 citizens living in Sullivan County in 2021, 81.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 35,086 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 17,445 were male, constituting 49.7%, and 17,641 were female, making up 50.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Sullivan County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 81%.
